Emergency House Cleaning: A Must-Have for The Prevention of Diseases and Illnesses Amidst the  Covid-19 Pandemic!

Cleanliness matters at all times. Emergency house cleaning rises from incidents that require immediate attention and care and the need to have maintenance after a thorough clean up.

Who does not like to have a clean house devoid of germs, bacteria, fungi, and viruses? We all hope and wish for that. Undeniably but inevitable, you cannot remove all these harmful disease-causing microbes, but you can prevent it. However, are you curious about what these dreadful microorganisms can do to you? Having a messy, filthy kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, living room, and more, welcome aboard these diseases.

Moreover, poor personal or domestic hygiene can result in several serious illnesses, now more than ever in 2020!

Signs of poor domestic hygiene include:
  • not cleaning the toilet
  • not getting rid of rubbish
  • not washing clothes and bedding frequently
  • not storing food properly

Signs of poor personal hygiene include:
  • not washing hands
  • not showering
  • not washing hair

Hygiene not just in yourself but also in maintaining the cleanliness of your home matter. However, if you take proper sanitation and good hygiene, this can result in many infections and diseases. Here are the following:

Bacterial
  • food poisoning
  • gastroenteritis
  • diarrhea caused by Campylobacter
  • pneumonia
  • trachoma
  • skin infections
Viral
  • hepatitis A
  • gastroenteritis
  • colds and flu
 Parasitic
  • giardiasis
  • scabies infection
  • pediculosis (head lice infection)
  • hookworm infection
  • threadworm infection
  • roundworm infection (Strongyloides)

Poor domestic and personal hygiene practices help the rapid transmission of disease-causing germs:
  • directly, by the fecal-oral route, or by person to person or to have a pet to person physical contact
  • indirectly, through vectors coming into contact with people or their food, or by people breathing in airborne droplets of moisture that may have germs or eating contaminated food.

Sounds unpleasant, right? How much more if you experience some of these diseases? How terrible would be the feeling! Hence, cleanliness matters! Hygiene is a must for all. Emergency house cleaning is vital as this will eliminate some of these disease-causing microbes. Furthermore, emergency house cleaning will prevent the rapid replication or reproduction of fungi, bacteria, and viruses. You must see to it that your house is clean and safeguarded from harmful disease-causing germs.

Do you know the reason your mom frequently asks you to clean your plate, and you must not eat on the bed? Do you know that bread crumbs and food bits that inevitably fall on the ground or might cling to the upholstery will remain there and will rot? These bits of bread crumbs or food can also entice bugs and critters. This contributes to a significant health risk, for they can cause diarrhea in young children (which leads to severe dehydration and bleeding if worsened) and stomach cramps! Having babies or toddlers in the house, you must ensure that they must not put contaminated food inside their mouths.

Your unwashed piles of dishes, leaky faucets, un-thrown garbage, and clogged drains are all dwelling places of germs and breeding ground for harmful bacteria, fungi, and viruses. You may leave the dishes unwashed overnight, yet there's no assurance that your kids will not contract cholera, dysentery, diarrhea, or kidney infections! Be careful, be mindful, be vigilant before it gets worse!

As the adage of yesteryears, an ounce of prevention is better than a pound of cure. Indeed, health is wealth and must always be our top priority. Better to have an emergency house cleaning rather than having an emergency in the hospital. Remember that cleaning has health benefits.
